Export Regulation

Restricted ⚠️

Personal goods with a value exceed CFA250,000 requires a written declaration for export.

Live animals and their derivative products, including meat, must be accompanied by sanitary or zoosanitary certificate issue by the competent departments of the Ministry responsible for animal husbandry.

Male bovine animals under 5 years of age and breeding female bovine animals require authorisation under special agreements between Mali and third countries.

Protected species and their derivative products protected under CITES require a permit for export.

Plants must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the competent technical services.

Artworks require export authorisation from the Ministry of Arts and Culture. In order to obtain this, the object in question must be presented for inspection to the Director of the National Museum of Mali.

Gold objects exceeding a total weight of 500g require authorisation for export.
